How to prepare your home for sale
- Clean off all countertops leaving the bare minimum that you need to live with.
- Clean out all closets so the buyer feels like there is plenty of closet space. Full closets make a buyer think there is not enough closet space.
- Landscaping is crucial. The curb appeal and landscaping can add thousands of dollars more than what you spend on it to the value of your home. We can discuss the details with you.
- Paint inside and out (if needed). Neutral colors sell the home best.
- Remove all excess furniture and items on the floor so that each room has good scale and is not vercrowded.
- There is a list of other things that can be very inexpensive and make a huge difference in the sale of your home. We can review those things with you after seeing your home
